What is a cookie and what is it for

A cookie is a small file (small text string) stored in the user's browser when he visits a website. Cookies can be stored only for the time of use of a specific site (session cookies) or for a longer period of time independent of the session (persistent cookies). Cookies work in combination with the content of the website and normally have the function of improving the usability and browsing experience on the web (technical cookies). Some types of cookies also allow you to know the contents displayed, the choices selected and each use of the Site by the user. This functionality also allows to offer the most useful and relevant advertising to each individual user (profiling cookies). A website can use self-developed cookies (first-party cookies) or use cookies developed by third-party companies (third-party cookies).

Type of cookies used by this site
The LCS - Law Consulting & Solutions site, hereinafter also referred to as "Site", uses:

a) technical cookies: these are cookies necessary for navigation, which allow correct use of the Site and its full functionality. These cookies are temporary (so-called "session cookies") and are released by the Site on the user's computer while browsing, but are stored exclusively for the duration of the browsing session itself. This means that when the user closes his browser, the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without being stored on the computer.
b) analytical cookies: these are cookies used to collect and analyze traffic and use of the Site anonymously. These cookies, even without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow you to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. The deactivation of these cookies can be performed without any loss of functionality.

Google Analytics
The Site includes certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). These are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect and analyze, anonymously, information on the behavior of use of the Site (including the user's IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it in order to draw up reports for LCS - Law Consulting & Solutions operators regarding the activities relating to the Website itself.
This Site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google, nor does it try to link an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also communicate this information to third parties where this is required by law or where such third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of Google.
For more information, please refer to the link below: https://www.google.it/policies/privacy/partners/
The user can disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on his browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
